Night Owl

In 2017, the Seattle Transportation Benefit District funded an effort to modernize Seattle's Night Owl transit network. Operating between 12AM and 5AM, the Night Owl network was previously comprised of a few, circuitous, night-time only routes operating large, looped pathways around the city. This change in 2017 replaced these services with late night trips on existing all-day routes providing service in the same areas as the former Night Owl routes, while also providing new connections and transfer points that previously did not exist.

Today, 16 King County Metro routes operating in Seattle provide service over night (Routes 3, 5, 7, 11, 36, 44, 48, 49, 65, 67, 70, 120, 124, and RapidRide C, D, and E Line).
