The Seattle Disability Commission advises the Mayor, City Council, and City departments about issues of importance to people with disabilities. It recommends policies, practices, and legislation to the City in matters affecting the concerns of people with disabilities, and encourages understanding among people with various disabilities as well as between people with disabilities and the larger Seattle community.
