Thank you to everyone in attendance at our first community meeting to discuss the View Ridge Playfield Play Area Renovation project on April 19. Here are our notes from that meeting and the summary of responses we received to both in-person and online surveys.

This project will update the pathways through the park to create an accessible route to the play area.

Seattle Park District provides $730,000 for planning, design and construction

Schedule

Planning: 2022
Design: Spring 2023
Construction: Winter 2024/2025

Project Description

This project will replace the existing play area and make accessibility improvements to the pathway from the park entrance. All improvements will meet accessibility and stormwater requirements.

This project will update the pathways through the park to create an accessible route to the play area.

The play area will be closed throughout construction.
