Loyal Heights Community Center Stabilization

Community Center Stabilization - Future Work

The project is currently on hold.

Loyal Heights Community Center was identified in the 2016 Community Center Strategic plan for a major maintenance project focused on extending the life of the facility and increasing programming potential. Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) had a pre-design and construction estimate evaluation done for the Loyal Heights Community Center's major maintenance proposal, which determined that the costs of these building improvements were significantly out of line with the allocated funds.

Seattle Parks and Recreation is currently studying the future operational and programming needs and the estimated cost of meeting these needs. This planning study will provide a recommendation on the capital improvement project direction for this community center.
