Submit a Project

Before you submit a project to the Design Commission, or even begin selecting an architect or consultant, you should:

  • Consult with the Design Commission staff regarding your City-funded project when you are ready to develop your Request for Proposals / Request for Qualification and select consultants
  • Read the Design Commission's Project Handbook
  • Attend a Design Commission meeting to see firsthand what our reviews are about
  • Contact the Seattle Department of Transportation if your project involves a street or alley vacation to initiate that application before your scheduled Design Commission Review: Beverly Barnett, beverly.barnett@seattle.gov, (206) 684-7564

Once you have completed those steps, contact us to schedule a project review.
