Civil case information and civil records are not available on the Seattle Municipal Court's website or portal. If you need to access civil case documents or have civil case questions, contact the court's civil clerk at SMC_Civil@seattle.gov or call (206) 684-5650.

Filing documents for a civil case

The civil case number format is XX-XXX, for example, 21-001. You can:  

• Email documents to SMC_Civil@seattle.gov
• Fax documents to (206) 684-8115
• Drop off in person in Clerks Office on third floor.
• Mail documents to:

Civil Pre-settlement Conferences (PSC)

Civil Pre-settlement Conferences (PSC) are heard on the second and fourth Monday of every month at 1:30 p.m. The PSC hearings are held virtually using WebEx video/telephone conferencing. You can access your PSC hearing by selecting the Civil Pre-Settlement Conferences link listed on the court's Virtual Hearings page.
