Pet Loss Support Group
The loss of a pet can be very difficult. Our volunteers are here to help. The Pet Loss Support Group meets weekly by phone/Webex every Thursday, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. For the schedule and details on how to join the virtual meeting, please email saspetloss@gmail.com.
PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP AT SEATTLE ANIMAL SHELTER - this meeting is only by phone/online, not in person.

The purpose of the Pet Loss Support Group at the Seattle Animal Shelter is to provide short-term group support for individuals experiencing grief and grief-related issues due to the loss of a pet.
This program does not provide professional counseling and/or assessment services for the treatment of psychological problems or disorders, and participants will not be receiving professional therapeutic intervention through this program.
As a condition of participating in this program, I agree to release, defend and indemnify the Seattle Animal Shelter, the City of Seattle, and their employees and volunteers from any loss or injury to my person and from all liability for any and all claims, demands, losses, or damages, actions, judgments of every kind and description arising out of my participation in this program.
